<p>The Role is responsible for Own Brands New Products pre-launch process and, and is expected to:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage the evaluation of new products against product briefs, ensuring accurate assessment of product attributes.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure Product evaluation (Prescreen and SEC) activities are tracked according to project timelines.</li><li>Lead consumer questionnaire design with cross-functional teams, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), liaise with external agencies for execution and results analysis.</li><li>Conduct comparative (ANOVA) analysis of sensory attributes and evaluation results to assess product performance.</li><li>Assist and support in evaluation method development, verification and validation for various product categories.</li><li>Manage the new supplier pre-qualification process and complete required assessment and documentation.</li></ul><p><br></p><p> <strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Education: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or its equivalent.</li></ul><p><br></p><p> <strong>Required Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in R&D and/or product development, including the commercialization of new products.</li><li>Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems such as HACCP and/or ISO 22000 are distinct advantages.</li><li>Proficient in Google Suite applications and data management.</li><li>Familiarity with SFA/HSA regulatory and Halal requirements is an advantage.</li></ul><p><br></p><p> <strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Understands role priorities and supports team-level goals and process improvements.</li><li>Anticipates process challenges and recommends practical, consumer-based solutions, integrating technical knowledge with insights to improve outcomes.</li><li>Possesses strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating teamwork and a keen eye for detail.</li><li>A self-starter, demonstrates accountability and is results-oriented.</li><li>Maintains a positive attitude and a learning mindset.</li></ul><p><br></p><p> Workplace location: FairPrice Hub (just next to Joo Koon MRT)</p><p></p>
