Responsibilities:
· Confirm compliance with IMO, classification society (ClassNK) and inspections stipulated by the Japanese government (JG) and comply with technical standards.
· Degree in mechanical and electrical engineering, able to respond quickly and accurately to mechanical and electrical problems when they occur.
· Able to manage budgets and procure and manage materials and equipment appropriately.
· Safe work planning by setting workplace safety rules and engaging in safety training.
· Thorough control and rapid response in spare parts stock management, repairs, and maintenance.
· Sufficient skills and experience required in ship-related operations, with operational efficiency and troubleshooting skills.
· The ability to make use of previous work to accurately formulate plans, check progress and control quality.
· Facilitate coordination with relevant parties (shipyards, classification societies, manufacturers, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
· Excellent writing and high communication skills.
· Identifying and resolving problems occurring in the field and proposing improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
· Able to prepare progress reports and reports to the head office.
· Positive personality, always willing to communicate and cooperate with shipyard personnel and the ship's crew, and able to identify root causes and suggest appropriate countermeasures in resolving problems.
Requirements:
· Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
· Experience in working at civil construction sites for at least 3 years with a proven track record of the following works.
 o (pier construction, dredging, ground improvement)
· Experience in dredging in planning electrical equipment.
· Good knowledge of Electrical circuit diagrams
· Good knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers and programming, such as PLC ladder, function block, etc.
· Well-versed in ship maintenance requirements
· Good written and interpersonal skills
· Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Positive troubleshooting/finding root cause with the ship's crew on board.
