Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of medication orders
  • Monitor and manage discharge medication process
  • Implement and review workflows
  • Develop and manage staff rosters
  • Monitor workload distribution and adjust staffing
  • Mentor and supervise pharmacy staff
  • Coordinate operational training for new staff and ensure ongoing development of all pharmacists
  • Work closely with nursing teams to improve medication administration processes
  • Lead initiatives to improve medication safety
  • Ensure sufficient stock level of medications
  • Oversee the implementation and efficient use of inpatient pharmacy system such as automated dispensing cabinets (ADC)
  • Investigate medication-related incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating large volumes of information with precision and accuracy.
