<p>We are partnering with a reputable Singapore shipyard that specialises in ship repair, conversion and newbuilding projects. They are looking to hire an Estimator who will play a key role in developing accurate costing and competitive quotations that support both commercial success and operational feasibility.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment and subcontracting for repair, conversion and newbuilding projects</li><li>Review project specifications, drawings and client requirements to define accurate scope of work</li><li>Develop and submit tenders or quotations in response to client inquiries and bidding opportunities</li><li>Coordinate closely with procurement, engineering and production teams to verify pricing inputs and delivery schedules</li><li>Participate in tender meetings, site visits and client discussions when required</li><li>Maintain an updated database of rates and pricing information and provide inputs for cost analysis and project reviews</li><li>Support cost control efforts and contribute to strategies that improve profit margins and estimation accuracy</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in shipyard estimation for repair, conversion or newbuilding or in similar capacity</li><li>Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline</li><li>Solid understanding of vessel structures, systems and repair processes</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><em>If you'd like to hear more, please apply and/or contact us at:</em></p><p><em>www.holloberg.com</em></p><p><em>Business Registration No: 201805144D</em></p><p><em>EA Registration No: R1653145</em></p><p><em>License No: 18C9522</em></p>
