Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include <strong>Benchmark</strong>, <strong>General Catalyst</strong>, <strong>Peter Thiel</strong>, <strong>Adam D'Angelo</strong>, <strong>Larry Summers</strong>, and <strong>Jack Dorsey</strong>.<br><br><strong>Position:</strong> Education Content Developer<br><br><strong>Type:</strong> <strong>Contract<br><br></strong><strong>Compensation:</strong> <strong>$25–$30/hour<br><br></strong><strong>Location:</strong> <strong>Remote<br><br></strong><strong>Duration:</strong> <strong>2 months<br><br></strong><strong>Commitment:</strong> <strong>20+ hours/week<br><br></strong><strong>Role Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Translate, adapt, and synthesize complex nuances in education workflows and processes in Taiwan, reflecting curriculum standards and pedagogy across different educational domains.</li><li>Write fluently in both Traditional Chinese and English, ensuring precise education terminology and nuanced expression across languages.</li><li>Provide cultural insights specific to the Taiwanese education system, including assessment, classes, norms at school, and more.</li><li>Work closely with reviewers and peers to refine content, validate accuracy, and align outputs with educational standard practices in Taiwan.</li><li>Leverage your background in education and bilingual communication skills to create accurate, culturally nuanced, and technically precise content.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Must-Have<br><br></strong><ul><li>Native Mandarin speaker with strong written and spoken English.</li><li>Advanced degree in Teaching, Pedagogy, or a related field.</li><li>2–6+ years of professional experience teaching in Taiwan.</li><li>Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.</li><li>Experience delivering and creating assessments to students.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience with rubric development is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with generative AI models or machine learning concepts is a bonus.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Application Process (Takes 20–30 mins to complete)<br><br></strong><ul><li>Submit your resume.</li><li>Complete an AI-led interview to assess language ability and professional experience.
