Come grow with us!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>THE ROLE</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">Responsible for providing effective career development and job search consulting to Careerminds outplacement participants on an individual and/or group basis as directed.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">This is a 100% remote, 1099 contract role. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Establishes rapport with participants and motivates them to achieve goals.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Guides participants through the coaching process and milestone completion.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Advises and coaches on career development, transition issues, and career options.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Coaches on résumé writing, effective marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiating.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Documents the service delivery record in the Career Management System (CMS)  for each employee serviced, according to our pre- and post-engagement guidelines. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Deliver other transition-related programs at the direction of a Manager.</span></li></ul><h2><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>THE MUST-HAVES</strong></span></h2><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Expertise in Career Development including Career Planning, branding, resume development, interviewing, networking, social networking, internet job search, etc.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Minimum of 3-5 years of business experience and understanding of organizational structures, cultures, and decision-making processes.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Expertise in virtual coaching delivery, and savvy with technology. </span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">A high-speed internet connection on a personal computer with reliable audio/video will be required. Must be comfortable using video conferencing tools, instant messenger tools (such as slack) and booking links.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Excellent communications, interpersonal and analytical skills.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Excellent capacity to work with a wide variety of individuals from varied educational and socio-economic backgrounds.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Excellent listener; must possess strong empathy and sensitivity to emotional reactions.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Must be self-motivated and self-directed.</span></li></ul><h2><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>THE NICE-TO-HAVES</strong></span></h2><ul><li><span style="font-size:12px;">Bachelor's Degree, specialized certifications, and/or higher degrees</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size:12px;">At Career.io, we believe that diversity in thought and cultural background leads to better teams and stronger companies.
