Position Overview:

We are seeking a Crypto-native Android Engineer to join our client’s high-velocity engineering team. This role involves developing secure, efficient, and user-friendly mobile applications that connect users directly to Solana’s onchain ecosystem encompassing wallets, swaps, and trading experiences.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments and is deeply engaged with the crypto space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Integrate mobile experiences with Solana programs, wallets, and onchain APIs.
  • Collaborate with backend and product teams to deliver performant, intuitive mobile user experiences.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code optimized for scalability and performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical, performance, or UX issues proactively.

Job Requirements

  • Strong crypto-native mindset, with prior exposure to Solana or other L1 ecosystems.
  • Proven experience as a Mid-level Android Engineer.
  • Background in building wallets, exchanges, or other crypto-related mobile products.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a high-output, distributed environment.

The following would be nice to have:

  • Experience with backend engineering (Node.js, Go, or Rust preferred).
  • Familiarity with blockchain SDKs, payments, or card integrations.
  • Exposure to cross-platform development (Flutter, React Native, or Kotlin Multiplatform).
