Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Conduct preliminary patient assessments and record vital signs.
Assist healthcare professionals in various medical procedures.
Provide support and comfort to patients during examinations.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals.
Handle medical billing and coding tasks efficiently.
Communication:
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their queries and concerns.
Required Skills:
Medical Knowledge:
Proficient in basic medical procedures and terminology.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Administrative Skills:
Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Experience in medical billing and coding.
Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Qualifications:
Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting.
Previous experience in a medical assistant role preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
