Description

At Apple, our number one resource is our people. Apple’s Compensation team is responsible for ensuring that our people are rewarded with highly competitive pay and exceptional benefits for their contributions to Apple. The Compensation team is looking for an innovative compensation professional to lead the compensation function for our APAC markets. You will partner with the leadership teams and their People Business Partners to design and implement an innovative, regional compensation strategy within the overall company compensation philosophy for the organization.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for all of the compensation matters of the Apple Retail Line of Business in APAC region, including:
  • You will work with People Business Partners and business leaders to develop and deliver innovative compensation programs
  • Leading strategic projects as well as core process activities
  • Supporting Collective Bargaining and Labour relations efforts
  • Executing the annual compensation planning process
  • Leading country and regional market competitiveness reviews and providing market-based recommendations to department leaders
  • Providing guidance on base salary, bonus and equity programs
  • Working with the Compensation team to review compensation policies and practices
  • Delivering training to People Business Partners, Recruiting and managers on compensation philosophy and programs
  • Performing ad hoc analysis to support business needs
  • Initiating and maintaining strong working relationships within and outside the People Team


Minimum Qualifications
  • Track record of consistent success leading Compensation programs, with 7-10+ years of demonstrable experience in a multi-national company.
  • Sophisticated excel/spreadsheet skill.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including influencing and ability to support innovation.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly collaborative style. Willingness and ability to work in teams, as both a lead and as a supporting team member.
  • Proficient in external market benchmarking.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently when advising senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High integrity and ethics in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to get involved in the details while maintaining broader view.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to perfection .
  • Knowledge of applicable regional employment laws.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. CCP/GRP) or other Total Rewards/Compensation qualifications a plus.
