Job Description We, at Turing, are looking for Ruby on Rails developers who will be responsible for developing server-side logic, maintaining a central database, and integrating the user-facing with server-side functionality. Key responsibilities - Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic - Maintain data interchange between server and the users - Design robust, secure, and scalable features - Define the architecture of modern tools and runtime for operating your code - Implement integration, development, SCRUM, code standards, and refactoring - Collaborate with product owners to deliver products in an agile environment Basic Requirements - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) - 3+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates) - Working knowledge of Ruby programming language and common libraries such as RSpec and Resque - Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 - Experience with REST API design and services development - Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers - The ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones About Turing.com Turing’s mission is to unleash the world’s untapped human potential.
