About the role: At Turing, we are looking for experienced Python developers who will join the team to build user-friendly, robust, and high-performance software solutions and web applications. Job responsibilities - Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to build functional and scalable software solutions - Collaborate with the project managers and technical leads to understand requirements and implement solutions - Participate in developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance of the existing systems - Write clean, scalable, reusable, and efficient code and assist in regular code reviews - Help integrate user-facing components into the server-side logic - Collaborate with internal teams and other engineers to implement security and data protection solutions Job requirements - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience) - At least 3 years of software development experience using Python (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates) - Extensive development experience with Python programming language - Strong knowledge of Django or similar Python frameworks - Proficient with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc. - Good understanding of general programming best practices - Hands-on experience with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, SVN, etc. - Strong testing, debugging and troubleshooting skills - Fluency in English to collaborate with engineering managers and clients - Work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
