The Singapore Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining a workplace environment that enhances productivity, safety, and well-being, while ensuring that Morningstar’s office in Singapore is welcoming, functional, and aligned with the needs of employees, clients and visitors. The Facilities Manager oversees daily operations, manages maintenance schedules, and collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to support our organization’s strategic initiatives and ensure a positive employee experience. Areas of oversight and responsibility: Oversee daily operations of our almost 24,000 square-foot leased space in Singapore CBD. Collaborate with external service providers to ensure a clean, secure, and productive workplace. Monitor vendor performance to meet quality standards that align with Morningstar Facilities’ expectations. Ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance by maintaining compliance calendars, conducting safety checks and audits, and addressing hazards or non-compliance issues. Build and maintain relationships with property management, local leadership, and key stakeholders to drive improvements. Maintain office floorplan and neighborhood assignments in collaboration with People & Culture, Compliance and local business unit leaders. Support sustainability initiatives, including reporting on carbon footprint metrics for the Singapore office. Manage annual and periodic budgeting processes, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines for ongoing and one-time expenses. Play an active role in maintaining and testing the business continuity plan and business impact analysis for the Facilities function. Draft and contribute to communications regarding activities and changes that impact the office, ensuring clear and timely updates to employees. Requirements: A minimum of 8 years of experience in Facilities Management, with a focus on soft-services delivery and office operations. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in using ticketing systems and related technical tools. Competence in understanding budgets and analyzing financial data. Excellent skills in planning, organization, and time management.
