<p>Our client, a <strong>Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP)</strong> which is currently in a process of upgrading it's license to Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP), is looking for a <strong>Money Laundering And Reporting Officer (MLRO)</strong> to support the licensing process.</p><p><strong>🔍 Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure the business complies with the obligations set out under EU and Czech AML legislation.</li><li>Act as the central point for the receipt and assessment of internal suspicious activity reports (SARs).</li><li>Report suspicions of money laundering or terrorist financing to the Czech FIU (FAÚ) in a timely manner.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant AML/CFT laws, regulations, and best practices in the Czech Republic.</li><li>Implement and maintain the firm’s AML/CFT policies, procedures, and internal controls.</li><li>Conduct ongoing monitoring of the effectiveness of AML systems and controls.</li><li>Provide AML/CFT training to relevant staff and ensure appropriate awareness across the firm.</li><li>Cooperate with audits and inspections by Czech regulators or the FIU.</li><li>Maintain appropriate records, including SARs, customer due diligence (CDD) documents, and AML training logs, in line with Czech legal retention requirements (typically 10 years).</li></ul><p><strong>🎓Qualifications and Competence:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of Czech AML/CFT legislation and regulatory expectations.</li><li>Prior experience in a compliance or financial crime role is preferred.</li><li>Ability to exercise independent judgment and escalate issues when necessary.</li><li>Fluency in Czech and proficiency in English.</li><li>Must be fit and proper to hold the position, as assessed by the company and subject to regulatory review if required.</li></ul><p><strong>✨ The Employer offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Remuneration of 1200-1600 EUR per month</li><li>Fully Remote, part-time involvement</li><li>Opportunity to a full time involvement upon license obtain<span dir="ltr"></span><span dir="ltr"></span><br></li></ul>
