Job Summary
Love creativity and hands-on making? We’re looking for Freelance Sewing & Fashion Instructors to lead our Junior Fashionista and Sewing Fun programs! You’ll guide children aged 6–12 through beginner-friendly sewing and fashion projects — from simple stitches to styling their own creations. Perfect for crafters, educators, or design enthusiasts who enjoy teaching in a fun, informal setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging sewing lessons: Teach basic stitching, hand-sewing, and simple design projects using provided lesson plans and materials.
  • Encourage creativity: Help students express their ideas through fabric, texture, and color.
  • Ensure smooth class operations: Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate and communicate: Work closely with coordinators and respond professionally to parent queries.
  • Promote hands-on learning: Inspire confidence and curiosity in every session.

Key Requirements

  • Strong interest in fashion, sewing, and working with children.
  • Confident communicator with good classroom presence.
  • Punctual, reliable, and patient — especially with beginners.
  • Willing to travel to various school locations across Singapore.
  • Willing to undergo a background check (required for school settings).
  • Able to commit on Mondays for at least 6 months (excluding school holidays).

Interview & Selection Process
Candidates will undergo a 3-stage process:

  • Initial Screening & Group Stage (Video Call): Short virtual interview and group discussion.
  • Face-to-Face Session & Trial Lesson Plan Delivery: Meet in person, receive training, and deliver a short demo segment.
  • Tryout Class (Final Review): Conduct a supervised class session for final evaluation.

Training Provided
Comprehensive training and class materials provided — no prior teaching experience required!
