We seek visionary leaders who thrive in dynamic, entrepreneurial settings, and excel in autonomous roles.</p></div><p><strong>About the role<br></strong>As a Product Manager: API Partners, you will own the strategy, delivery, and operations of our API partner ecosystem, enabling third-party integrations that extend MGT's reach and capabilities. You will be the bridge between external partners and internal teams, ensuring that our APIs are intuitive, reliable, and unlock new distribution and data opportunities. Working closely with Engineering, Insurance, Distribution, and Business Development, you will build the infrastructure and partnerships that scale our platform through external integrations.</p>
<p><strong>What You’ll do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design and prioritize API features, documentation, and partner onboarding experiences that enable seamless third-party integration</li>
<li>Own the end-to-end partner journey from initial integration through ongoing success, serving as the primary product contact for API partners</li>
<li>Use SQL, Looker, and other analytics tools daily to monitor API health, track partner adoption metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement</li>
<li>Collaborate with Engineering to define API standards, versioning strategies, and developer tools that enable partners to integrate quickly and reliably</li>
<li>Work with Insurance and Distribution teams to identify high-value integration opportunities that unlock new channels or data sources</li>
<li>Build and maintain API documentation, code samples, and integration guides that enable partners to self-serve where possible</li>
<li>Instrument API usage and partner engagement to measure business impact (e.g., "partner X has driven Y% increase in quote volume")</li>
<li>Manage the API product roadmap, balancing partner requests with platform scalability and strategic priorities</li>
<li>Develop deep expertise in authentication systems (Auth0), policy administration APIs (Socotra), and third-party data integrations</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3-5+ years of product management experience with a focus on APIs, developer platforms, or partner ecosystems</li>
<li>BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience</li>
<li>Fluent in SQL and experience in Looker or an equivalent BI tool</li>
<li>Strong technical depth - you can read API documentation, understand authentication flows, and have meaningful technical conversations with engineering teams</li>
<li>Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication standards (OAuth, SAML), and API gateway technologies</li>
<li>Collaborative, hands-on, and relentless in pursuit of results</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>
</ul>

<li>A background in insurance, insuretech, or financial services.</li>
<li>A passion for early-stage startups and/or high-growth experience.</li>
