HR Service Jobs is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Remote Grant Writer to support nonprofit and NGO initiatives by researching, writing, and submitting high-quality grant proposals. This position plays a critical role in securing funding to help drive meaningful social impact through development, education, environmental, and humanitarian projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills, nonprofit knowledge, and the ability to translate mission-driven programs into compelling proposals that resonate with funding bodies.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify new public and private grant funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
Write clear, persuasive, and compelling grant proposals, letters of intent, and supporting documents.
Coordinate with project managers and program leaders to gather necessary data and documentation.
Develop and manage grant calendars and submission deadlines to ensure timely submissions.
Edit and proofread grant proposals for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with funder guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of submitted proposals, awarded grants, and reporting deadlines.
Monitor grant outcomes and assist in writing grant reports as per funder requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure accurate representation of program goals and impact.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong attention to detail, grammar, and structure in writing.
Familiarity with proposal writing formats, grant cycles, and nonprofit funding landscape.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and grant tracking tools or CRM platforms.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in grant writing for nonprofit or NGO organizations.
Demonstrated success in securing funding from foundations, government agencies, or private donors.
Experience in international development, community programs, education, or environmental initiatives is highly desirable.
Working Hours
Flexible schedule.
Expected availability: 20–30 hours per week.
