Job Description

  • Conduct nutritional assessments to evaluate clients’ dietary needs, health status, and lifestyle habits.
  • Develop customized meal and nutrition plans that align with clients’ goals, medical conditions, and preferences.
  • Provide counselling and education on healthy eating, weight management, and disease prevention.
  • Monitor clients’ progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals (doctors, dietitians, fitness trainers, etc.) to support integrated health care.
  • Stay current with nutrition research, food science, and dietary guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Organize and deliver workshops or seminars on nutrition and wellness topics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Certification or licensure as required by state or national regulations (e.g., Registered Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Specialist).
  • Proven experience in clinical, community, or corporate nutrition settings.
  • Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex nutritional science into practical, easy-to-follow advice.
  • Proficiency in using nutrition software and health tracking tools.
