We embrace an ownership mindset, pushing ourselves and each other to accelerate progress and create lasting success.</div> <div>We are looking for a full-time, permanent <strong>Logistics Specialist</strong> to join our team in Amsterdam </div> <div> <strong>Your tasks</strong></div> <div>Execute just-in-time logistics of materials and equipment across suppliers, manufacturing locations and project sites. </div> <div>Plan, execute and monitor shipping activities to comply with on-time delivery and financial metrics </div> <div>Coordinate customs clearance processes across the many parties involved</div> <div>Utilize required planning and forecasting tools to simplify overall logistics processes, and to communicate with Logistics Service providers</div> <div>Contribute with other Fluence teams as regional subject matter expert for operational logistics best practices</div> <div>Work cross-functionally across Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and other teams to deliver on Fluence strategy in a deliberate way that maximizes the customer outcomes.</div> <div>Engage, drive, and support projects related to cost out, logistics process improvements, and other business initiatives</div> <div>Execute logistics processes for the shipping of dangerous goods, incl. safety and quality in liaison with carriers and forwarders. </div> <div>Support regional warehousing strategy</div> <div> <strong>Your skills</strong></div> <div>• +5-year subject matter experience in project logistics</div> <div>• Experience in the field of dangerous goods handling and shipping</div> <div>• Experience and working knowledge in the EMEA logistics market</div> <div>• Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to requests, as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge of others in identifying quality solutions</div> <div>• Deal with volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity</div> <div>• Enjoy working in an international, fast-pace and dynamic environment</div> <div>• Communicate fluently in English </div> <div>Fluence IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER and fully subscribes to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity to ensure that all applicants and employees are considered for hire, promotion, and job status without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, marital or familial status. </div>
