Job Summary
Progressive Technology is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and self-driven Freelance Video Editor to join our global team and serve our esteemed clients in Singapore. As a remote freelancer, you will be responsible for transforming raw video footage into engaging visual content that aligns with the clients brand, style, and marketing objectives. This role is perfect for video editors who are passionate about storytelling, visual impact, and working with international clientele while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos for marketing, social media, promotional campaigns, and internal communication.
Collaborate closely with clients and internal project managers to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
Incorporate visual effects, transitions, sound design, and motion graphics to enhance video content.
Manage revisions and feedback rounds efficiently, maintaining a client-first approach.
Ensure the final deliverables meet technical specifications for various platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and corporate websites.
Maintain organized project files, assets, and backups for efficient project handovers and future editing.
Stay updated on the latest video trends, editing software, and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional editing tools.
Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
Excellent understanding of video formats, resolutions, and export requirements for web and social media.
Basic sound editing and color grading capabilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for visual consistency.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret creative briefs with clarity.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably with global or cross-cultural clients.
Prior experience editing content for brands, social media campaigns, or digital marketing is highly desirable.
Experience working with clients in Singapore or Southeast Asia is a strong plus.
Working Hours
Freelance and project-based with flexible working hours.
Must be available for occasional calls or meetings aligned with Singapore Standard Time (SGT).
Turnaround times may vary depending on project scope, typically ranging from 24–72 hours per deliverable.
