What You’ll Do
You’ll work closely with clients to translate their vision into polished, professional designs, with a special focus on book-related projects. Your responsibilities include:
Book & Publication Design: Design and lay out books, booklets, magazines, and brochures with a strong sense of typography, composition, and print production requirements.
Cover Design: Create eye-catching book covers that capture the essence of the content and appeal to the target audience.
Client Collaboration: Understand project goals, brand guidelines, and audience needs through clear and professional communication.
Print & Digital Assets: Produce marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and digital graphics for social media and web use.
Style Versatility: Adapt designs to fit different audiences, tones, and formats while maintaining a high creative standard.
On-Time Delivery: Manage multiple deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
What We’re Looking For
Language Skills: Able to read and write Chinese; Cantonese fluency is a plus for direct client communication.
Design Software: Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign (preferred for book layout), Photoshop (PS), and Illustrator (AI).
Experience: Proven portfolio showcasing book and publication design, plus other graphic design work.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for typography, spacing, and layout precision.
