Job Description:As an Assistant Production, you will work closely with the production team to support the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects. Your role will involve assisting in all aspects of production, from pre-production planning to post-production tasks. You will collaborate with team members to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Responsibilities:- Assist in the planning and organization of production schedules, resources, and logistics.- Assist in casting, location scouting, and securing permits as required.- Provide administrative support, including managing documentation, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.- Assist in managing budgets, expenses, and tracking project costs.- Aid in coordinating on-set activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.- Assist with post-production tasks, including reviewing footage, organizing assets, and liaising with editors and post-production team members.- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to contribute fresh ideas and innovations to productions.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).- Previous experience in a production assistant or similar role within the film, television, or media industry.- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software (e.g., Final Draft, Movie Magic Budgeting).- Knowledge of production processes, industry terminology, and best practices.- Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed.
