Farm operator

Position

- This is a full time Farm Operator role

- Working hours are Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 6pm

Role & Responsibilities

• As a Farm Operator, you will be caring for the cultivation and maintenance of crops plants, and CEA systems.
• Your main goal will be to perform tasks to assist in day-to-day farming operations, these include, maintenance, harvesting, planting, documentation, quality assurance and quality checks.
• You will have to maintain good working discipline, adopt the defined standard farming processes, work closely with other department members.
• You will be responsible for achieving timely delivery without compromising on the quality. At all times, you must ensure good housekeeping at the workplace and safe working condition / environment.
• You are required to keep the farm equipment in good operating condition with scheduled preventive maintenance. At times, you may be assigned to carry out other work delegated by the Farm Supervisor.
• You will also be tasked to sanitise farming equipment.

Requirements

• Those who are keen working in an indoor farm may apply
• Training will be provided to ensure that you are up to date with latest farming practices
• Possess fair command of both written and spoken English
• Able to use basic hand tools
• Able to start within short notice
• Good Working Attitude
• Knowledge of basic Agriculture, Plumbing, and Electrical works will be considered
