<p><strong>JOB OVERVIEW</strong> </p><p>Working on <strong>Linguistic Validation</strong> projects, you are responsible for ensuring translations of Clinical Outcome Assessments are linguistically and culturally accurate. You possess fluency in two or more languages and have outstanding problem-solving skills that allow you to research industry-specific terminology. These projects require linguists with a strong commitment to accuracy; you will play a key role in the effectiveness and success of IQVIA™ Translation Services operations. <br> </p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong> </p><p>• Be a strategic partner in delivering on-time and quality translations <br>• Carefully adhere to provided material and instructions to meet the requirements of the clients <br>• Research industry-specific terminology to properly reflect the meaning and tone of the source content <br>• Cross-reference specialized glossaries and translation tools to check the quality of the translation <br>• Quality Check translation jobs before delivery for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy <br>• Work with the IQVIA™ Translation Services team to identify gaps in instructions or any external issue that may affect the commitment to the client. <br>• Flag project-specific queries in a timely manner <br>• Maintain close communication with Project Management and Vendor Management teams with regards to own capacity </p><p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</strong> </p><ul><li>Native in the target language</li><li>Fluency in source language(s) – spoken and written</li><li>Ability to work according to tight deadlines, as well as independently</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills and Requirements </strong></p><ul><li>Translation experience with clinical outcome assessments.</li><li>Prior experience performing any services within Linguistic Validation: dual forward translation, reconciliation, back translation.</li></ul><p><em><strong>Please note that if your application is successful, you will have to go through a mandatory onboarding training before your profile is activated in the vendor data</strong><strong>base.</strong></em> </p>
