The incumbent will assist the Manager in all aspects related to underwriting and policy documents for Cyber Insurance products, ensuring compliance with company guidelines. This includes handling quotations and renewals for sizable corporate accounts within the underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and refinement of cyber insurance policies and coverage options.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory changes affecting cyber insurance.

  • Provide support and guidance to clients and internal staff regarding cyber risk management and insurance needs.

  • Underwrite and price both portfolio and transactional-based cyber programs/products.

  • Identify growth opportunities and actively research trends and the competitive landscape in the Cyber and Specialty market.

  • Proactively monitor portfolio performance and accumulation risk.

  • Establish and update underwriting guidelines, policy forms and training materials

  • Serve as a technical referral and underwriting resource for treaty

  • Structure tailor-made underwriting solutions for new and existing Clients

  • Provide training for new underwriters on underwriting standards, coverages and policy forms

  • Contribute to special projects supporting new product development or exploration of new distribution channels

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of underwriting experience in cyber insurance or related fields.

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in English and Cantonese.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Candidates with a Degree/Higher Diploma and/or professional qualifications (e.g., ANZIIF, IIQE) will be an advantage.
