As a Barista at Cafe Amazon Malaysia, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality beverages and customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting daily café operations in alignment with Cafe Amazon's brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to customers following Cafe Amazon’s recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the barista station, equipment, and overall café area at all times.
Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and consumables; inform supervisor for replenishment when needed.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines as required by local health authorities.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and use POS systems accurately and responsibly.
Assist with restocking, inventory checks, and receiving deliveries.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold brand image.
Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Requirements
SPM or equivalent; additional hospitality or barista training is an advantage.
Prior experience as a barista or in food & beverage service is preferred but not required.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.
Friendly, energetic, and customer-oriented attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
